With more than a decade of experience across the construction and property sectors, John brings a strong combination of technical knowledge, commercial understanding and practical project experience to his role as Development Manager at Mercer & Cooper.

John oversees the delivery of the group’s development pipeline, taking projects from concept and feasibility through to completion. He holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Business, and has worked across the industry in roles including General Manager, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Estimator and Contracts Administrator. That breadth has given him a comprehensive understanding of design development, construction methodology, cost planning, project delivery and stakeholder management.

Throughout his career, John has led the delivery of complex residential and commercial projects, managing risk, programme, consultants and stakeholder expectations to achieve high-quality outcomes. He takes a structured, detail-oriented approach to development and brings project teams together around clear project objectives.

John is committed to improving industry practices, creating long-term value and delivering every project with integrity and precision. Outside of work, he volunteers with his former football club and enjoys staying active.
